Os grupos do Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET) da Universidade Federal do Acre (Ufac), com apoio da Pró-Reitoria de Graduação (Prograd), realizaram a solenidade de abertura do 21º Encontro Nacional dos Grupos PET (Enapet) na noite de segunda-feira, 01, no Teatro Universitário. O evento marca o início das atividades do Enapet, que acontece na Ufac até o dia 05. Neste ano, a temática do evento é Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão: Indissociabilidade.
A mesa de abertura contou com a presença da vice-reitora da Ufac e reitora em exercício, Guida Aquino; da pró-reitora de Graduação, Aline Nicolli; do pró-reitor de Extensão e Cultura, Enock Pessoa; do pró-reitor de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação em exercício, Fábio Augusto Gomes; do presidente local da comissão organizadora do Enapet, Romeu Martins Silva; do coordenador interinstitucional dos grupos PET da Ufac, Anderson Mesquita; do presidente da Comissão Executiva Nacional do PET (Cenapet), João Aristeu; da representante dos tutores PET, Simone Lima e do representante dos bolsistas dos grupos PET, Thirson Rodrigues de Medina.
Para Guida Aquino, o PET é um programa que ajuda a melhorar a atuação dos cursos de graduação e a qualidade dos profissionais formados na universidade. “O PET é de muita importância para a Ufac pois auxilia na qualificação dos nossos estudantes”, lembrou Aquino. “Os alunos ficam aproximadamente três anos se qualificando para se tornar um bom profissional e um bom cidadão, trabalhando o tripé ensino, pesquisa e extensão, que é o foco da universidade”, explicou a reitora em exercício.
O presidente da Cenapet, João Aristeu elogiou o trabalho realizado pelos grupos PET da Ufac. “Estive aqui ano passado e pude conhecer o trabalho dos nove grupos da Ufac e é um trabalho muito bom, de qualidade. Podemos ver que a essência do PET é desenvolvida na Universidade Federal do Acre”, afirmou Aristeu. “São nove tutores de qualidade e este evento vai coroar o trabalho feito por aqui e vai agregar com outros grupos do Brasil, que é uma das virtudes do evento”.
A 21ª edição do encontro reúne mais de 350 alunos de 14 estados brasileiros no campus sede da Ufac, em Rio Branco (AC), para a reunião anual dos grupos PET. O encontro tem a finalidade de discutir temas relevantes para a manutenção e desenvolvimento do programa.
O estudante de Engenharia Elétrica da Universidade Estadual de Santa Catarina (Udesc), e participante do PET Engenharia Elétrica em Joinville (SC), Guilherme do Nascimento, que veio ao evento acompanhado de mais 12 estudantes, acredita que o mais importante no Enapet é o encontro promovido entre os grupos PET de todo o Brasil.
